Today, the sad news has reached me that Sophie Body-Gendrot,
has passed away after fighting against illness.

In 2000, we edited a book together (Minorities in European Cities, Palgrave 2000). It was a real pleasure to work with Sophie. She was a great scholar and a very nice person with a wonderful sens of humour.

Rest in Pease, Sophie !
