Conférence générale ECPR 2019 à Wrocłow (4-6 septembre):

  • Alessandro Mazzola (avec Andrea Rea, ULB) présidera le panel « Public attitudes and forms of mobilisation concerning asylum seekers and refugees ».
  • Angeliki Konstantinidou présidera les panels “International Mobility and Social Protection in Europe” et “Voting Behaviour and Politicisation of Migration”. Elle présentera également son papier sur la protection sociale des ressortissants de l’UE résidant à l’étranger.
  • Daniela Vintila présidera la section “International migration from a comparative perspective: policies, practices and outcomes”. Elle présidera également les panels “Migration and electoral politics in Europe and beyond” et “Migrants’ political mobilization in home and host countries”.

Angeliki Konstantinidou a présenté son papier sur “External Dimension of Social Protection: EU Nationals’ Access to Social Protection in Third Countries”

  • Carole Wenger présentera son papier sur « Women migrant’s transnational practices around healthcare: the interplay between social remittances, family ties and health ».
  • Daniela Vintila présidera le panel “Migration, citizenship and electoral politics: evaluating migrants’ political engagement in home and host countries”.
  • Félicien de Heusch présentera son papier sur « Transnational Relationships of Solidarity by Senegalese Migrants around Death. A Multi-Sited Ethnography in Belgium, Spain and Senegal ».
  • Jean-Michel Lafleur et Daniela Vintila participeront à l’atelier “Migration and Welfare: A dialogue on collecting and sharing data between ongoing research projects” et présenteront leur papier sur “Comparing social entitlements for immigrants and emigrants across the EU”.

Daniela Vintila
was awarded the Special Mention for Academic Excellence Abroad (postdoctoral level in Europe) of the League of Romanian Students Abroad (LSRS).

Larisa Lara was awarded the Prize for the best paper ABSP 2018 for the paper entitled « “My guitar is my rifle”: Mexican migrants mobilising unconventionally through art »  presented at the ECPR General Conference in Hamburg, August 24 2018.
